Today, we’re honouring two Valentine’s Day slasher films – George Mihalka’s My Bloody Valentine (1981), about an ex-miner who goes on a killing spree, and Jamie Blank’s Valentine (2001), which follows four women being stalked by a cupid-masked killer.
Both films just celebrated big anniversaries, My Bloody Valentine turning 40, and Valentine 20, and they’re filled with creative kills, entertaining chase scenes and satisfying reveals.
